industrial exhibition animation – ZEISS Miracle
Industrial exhibition animation showing Carl Zeiss production process
For an exhibition event, Carl Zeiss AG, renowned for producing perfect optical lenses, wanted to provide potential clients with insight into their production process. We created a one-minute industrial exhibition animation, featuring several unique and highly technical instruments in full CGI to illustrate the manufacturing workflow.
Because for this project no CAD-data of the objects was available, all the instruments actually had to be modeled, shaded and textured from scratch based on supplied photos and blueprints. A task I was mainly responsible for, while my colleagues handled the animation, fluid sims and compositing.
The clip was very well received during the exhibition event and has later been shown on television and in movie theatres throughout India as well.
