opening title sequence – Munich Film Festival 2012
Opening title sequence fully produced in-house for festival screening
During my employment at Animoto/Screencraft Entertainment, we produced the opening title sequence for the Munich Film Festival 2012. From concept to post-production, the clip was entirely produced in-house and was screened before every contribution at the festival, showcasing our creative approach and complete control over the production pipeline.
The sequence was shot at an indoor pool and the actress was pulled out of the water with magic wires. After masked out and composited with the background footage, I was responsible for the animated dragonfly wings. While I was busy with modeling, texturing, tracking and animating, my colleagues took care of the fluid sim and title animation.
