The customer (Osram) wanted visual support for the announcement of a new product line of industrial lights for an upcoming exhibition. As the product was still in development and real film recordings were out of the question, my client with me as a partner suggested a 3D visualization as the solution. I prepared the delivered CAD data, developed the shaders and created some renderings of the product in a custom lit environment to convince the customer in a first step of the quality and the possibilities of 3D product visualization. After mutual agreement on the exact animation process, I finished the project to the satisfaction of my client and supported him with the resulting follow-up orders later on.
