Since Adidas wanted to handle more productions in-house in the future, but they lacked the necessary expertise, I was asked to support them in this endeavor. In this first project, digital close-ups of innovative football shoes were to be integrated into real-live commercials produced by a London based agency. It was important to keep the differences between the actual and the digital product as small as possible. In this project, I was able to guide my customer through every single step of the production, starting with vfx set supervision and the creation of the necessary background hdri at the filming locations in London, through to the creation and animation of a digital version of the shoe to the final compositing. Two additional clips of this series were than produced later on.
